Such a busy day yesterday.......woke up to animal craziness, then off to visit with a friend then off to Busy Bee at Sharon's aka Liberty Rose Patterns. Click on "Liberty Rose Patterns" to go to her site. For those of you who have unfinished projects Sharon has a few days a month where she has Mrs. Stewart's Busy Bee. You can come and finish a project and Sharon is there to help. Fee is only $5. It's a great group of ladies.

I arrived at Sharon's and had a nice surprise -one of our friends - Miss Lou was there.  Hadn't seen her in a longgggggggggggggggggg time.  She was finally in her new house and I was so excited to see her.  Then I visited with the rest of the gang.  Once it was just Sharon and I, we worked on a secret project for a birthday present. Sorry can't tell you more about that until after October 10th.  The day of presentation.  But you will definately want to see what we've done!  Trisha- wink wink!.  (she's scared!)

Then we look at the clock and knew both our husbands would not be home for a awhile, so we decided to make the back to a quilt top we made last Friday.  We had a jelly roll race last Friday -Sharon on her Juki and Me on my lightweight Janome. Well it was like the tortoise (me) and the hare (sharon).  But we had fun. Of course she won the race but we both got them done. Above is the front -  below is the back.
Off to Cathy Kirk to get quilted.

Today is get somewhere in the blackhole of fabric and patterns.  I will try to post a before and after later.  It won't ALL be done but off to at least make some progress.

Happy Saturday!

Oh, one more note.  I've noticed after first post there's been no other comments. I think it is because it's a little tricky to figure out where. Click on "No comments" - that will take you to a comment box.
